Soccer Wordle (a.k.a. Football Wordle) is Wordle for football fans: instead of a five-letter word, you're hunting a mystery player. You get 8 guesses, and every guess reveals colour-coded clues that close in on the answer.
What is Soccer Wordle?
It takes the once-a-day, share-your-score format that made Wordle a phenomenon and applies it to football. There are no letters to unscramble — you guess real players from Europe's top leagues, and the board tells you how each one compares to the day's mystery player across club, league, nationality, position, height, age and shirt number.
How the clues work
- Green — an exact match (same club, nationality, position, etc.).
- Yellow — close: same position group, or within two for height/age/number.
- Grey — not a match.
- ▲ / ▼ — the answer's height, age or shirt number is higher or lower than your guess.
Daily and unlimited
Everyone gets the same player each day, so you can compare scores with friends. Want more? Football Wordle Unlimited serves a new random player every round with no daily cap.
