Guess the Footy is a free football player guessing game — pick a mystery footballer from clues on club, league, nationality, position, height, age and shirt number, in the style of Wordle.
What Guess the Footy is
Guess the Footy has three ways to play: a daily puzzle that everyone shares, an unlimited mode with a fresh random player every round and no daily cap, and Nations mode, which draws its pool from current national-team squads instead of clubs. All three use the same clue format so you can practice in unlimited or nations and take what you learn into the daily game.
How it's built
Guess the Footy is a small, independently built site with no account system and no tracking beyond basic, privacy-respecting site analytics. Club and national-team rosters are refreshed regularly so the answers stay accurate as transfers, call-ups and squad changes come in.
Not affiliated with any league or federation
Guess the Footy is an unofficial fan project. Player names, club names, national-team names and public stats are used nominatively to describe the game.
